Delete your account & data

Last updated: June 22, 2026

You're in control of your Hive data. This page explains how to remove it — both the data stored on your device and any account data we hold.

Delete data stored on your device

Most of your Hive information — your profile, logs, memories and chat history — is stored locally on your device. You can remove it yourself:

Request deletion of account data

If you created an account (for example with email sign-in), some data may be stored on Hive's server. To request deletion of that account data, email us:

Please include:

To protect your privacy, we may need to verify that the request comes from the account owner before deleting data.

What gets deleted

On a verified request, we delete the account record and associated personal data we hold for you. Some information may be retained only where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons, and backups are cleared on our normal backup cycle. We will let you know once your request has been actioned.

How long it takes

We aim to action verified deletion requests as soon as possible, and within 30 days. We do not promise instant deletion, because requests may need verification first.

Note on the current build

Hive's “Pro” is a free beta preview with no active subscription, so there is no billing to cancel as part of deletion. Hive does not currently read Apple Health or Apple Watch data, so there is no health-app data held by Hive to remove.
